On Wednesday, 31st May our class 6b went on a trip to Simmerath-Rurberg with Mrs Ising and Mr Passin. We went there by bus.

When we arrived we had lunch and later we got the keys for our rooms. Some rooms were pretty small:-)). In the afternoon we met our scouts Max and Anke. We had to collect wood in the forest because they wanted to teach us how to make a fire. It was fun. In the evening we went on a walk through the forest again. This time it was really scary. Mr Passin played a trick on us. He jumped on the path and screamed.

On Thursday morning we found out how to read a map and use a compass to find the way out of the forest back to the youth hostel. It was very exciting. In the afternoon Max and Anke took us to an archery field. You have to be really careful there. It was a hot day, but we really enjoyed it. In the evening we sat around a campfire and relaxed. Some of us played football. Later we danced at the disco!

It was a great trip!
